This used and very recently traded-in, one-owner Taylor 410ce-L1 is a classic dreadnought acoustic-electric featuring a Sitka spruce top with ovangkol back and sides, a mahogany neck, and an ebony fingerboard with progressive dot inlays. It also includes a Venetian cutaway and Taylor’s Expression System (ES-1) electronics, known for its balanced tone and reliable playability.

This is an excellent-playing guitar that sounds absolutely wonderful whether plugged in or strummed acoustically. It has been nicely played in, with super rich and tight-sounding low mids and bright, glass-like high tones. Clearly a daily player for the original owner, it has been very well cared for, with no cracks anywhere on the guitar and no history of past repairs. However, there are a few minor cosmetic finish issues on the face of the headstock. The lacquer shows some finishing flaws and small chipping marks just below each of the machine head posts, as well as on the very top faceplate of the headstock. All of these described issues can be clearly seen in the posted photos. The frets are still quite fresh, recently dressed, and all of the frets have plenty of life left in them.

Overall, this is a great player that has seen some use and, as a result of consistent playing, sounds absolutely wonderful. Complete with its original black - arch top hard shell Taylor case.

- Made October 17th of 2003 (42nd guitar made at the Taylor factory that day)
