With its compact Grand Concert body and unique 12-fret design, the Next Generation 712ce 12-Fret provides an exceptionally comfortable playing experience and produces a remarkably full voice with a surprisingly powerful bass response. Back and sides of solid Indian rosewood generate deep lows, bell-like trebles and rich harmonic overtones. A Western Red cedar top adds warmth, sweetness and responsiveness to a soft touch. Inside, scalloped V-Class bracing unlocks greater low-end warmth and open-string richness, while enhancing pitch accuracy and projection. A sleek Action Control Neck with a slotted peghead and 24-7/8-inch scale length allows for easy, on-the-fly string height adjustments and provides a slinky handfeel that makes fretting easier. Visual accents include Reflection inlays, white body binding, a green abalone rosette, faux-tortoise pickguard and a rich, full-body gloss finish.
