ITEM DETAILS:
Vater Front Ensemble Medium Vibraphone Mallets are made with synthetic yarn for maximum durability and weather resistance while still producing a rounded, full tone on the instrument thanks to their weight and hard rubber cores.
Flexible rattan shafts absorb some of the shock of hitting the aluminum bars while making mallet dampening easier.
These mallets are wrapped with a moderate amount of yarn that creates a little attack sound for articulation, while remaining very round and full in tone. Good for the bottom half of the instrument.
The mushroom shape of the heads push a little more yarn to the top, so when you tilt the mallets up at an angle for mallet dampening or phrasing the contact sound remains silent.
