Really nice player! This 1972 USA-made Baldwin-era Gretsch G-6102 Streamliner is in excellent overall condition for its vintage. It has very little playwear and is 100% free of cracks or past repairs.

The original "G" tailpiece has been removed and replaced with a proper USA-made Gretsch/Bigsby tremolo. It features original Gretsch Super'Tron double-coil blade humbucking pickups, a rosewood fretboard with a zero fret, and Neo Classic "Thumbprint" pearl inlays along the entire length of the board.

The guitar does show some signs of age, including a few marks on the back of the neck—one around the 10th fret on the treble side and another at the center of the back of the neck at the 7th fret. There is also the standard ding or two on the top of the headstock, as is common for guitars of this vintage. The last noticeable mark is located on the lower side of the body just below the pickguard. However, there are no binding breaks, belt rash, or other major signs of wear—it's super clean and has been very well cared for.

The original frets are all intact and still have plenty of life left in them, meaning no fret dressing is needed anytime soon. It's good to go on all levels—an incredible vintage USA-made Gretsch looking for a new home!

Fully set up in-house and sold with an aftermarket hardshell case.

  • USA-made in November 1972
  • Serial Number: 112303 (Located on the back of the headstock.)
